FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT TAO is a film forming impregnation for precast concrete, exposed concrete, concrete facades, manufactured concrete products like slabs and paving, screed and concrete flooring.

PROTECT TAO generates a satin shining finishing with excellent water- and oil repellent effects.

Weathering through vegetation growth and UV radiation is minimised and concrete's dirt rejection is significantly improved.

PROTECT TAO deepens the primary concrete colour and gives surfaces a fresh and shiny appearance.

PROTECT TAO is suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces (such as grinded, polished, washed, blasted and kernelled surfaces) and is applied on hardened concrete / on the dry side of concrete production.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT TAO penetrates concrete's capillary system and coats it. The film forming impregnation intensifies the concrete colour and gives its surface a glossy wet-look.

PROTECT TAO is abrasion resistant. The generated protective film does not turn yellow, is permeable to water vapour and resistant against UV-radiation.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 100 – 200 g/m² and has to be determined for each individual application.
