FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® RC895 S (FM) is a robust high-performance superplasticizer developed for universal, reliable use in the ready-mix concrete industry. It is especially suitable for concrete that has to be produced under challenging conditions, e.g., high ambient temperatures, long transport distances or when a retarding effect is required.


With its excellent plasticizing effects and very good workability retention, the superplasticiser enables the production of fresh concrete that is easy to process: The concrete has low viscosity, is easy to pump and smooth, and has high stability.

At the same time, the concrete shows an excellent robustness against varying aggregates, changing water contents, and shifting processing temperatures. These characteristics provide ready-mix producers with high application reliability.

PANTARHIT® RC895 S (FM) may reduce the compaction energy applied to concrete. Concrete manufacturers, contractors and applicators may therefore achieve an economical and technical benefit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The selected polymer structure achieves a very fast dispersion of the cement within the concrete significantly. This property allows the realisation of short mixing times.

The use of PANTARHIT® RC895 S (FM) allows the formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement paste which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.2 – 3.0 mass-% of the cement content;
is equivalent to 2 – 27 ml per kg cement.
