FIELDS OF APPLICATION

ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) is a specially developed product for semi-dry concrete. It combines the advantages of a PCE-based processing aid and hydrophobic admixture. ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) allows the following benefits:

Unerringly increase of water content

Due to the special product formulation ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) reduces the risks of high water absorption. The manufactured concrete products remain stable in shape and possible risks of deformations such as swelling are minimized.

Strength optimization

Due to the purposeful increase of the quantity of added water ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) allows exploiting cement’s full hydration potential which results in significantly improved high early strength as well as high final strength.

Decrease of efflorescence

The hydrophobic product formulation reduces the water absorption of concrete. Having this properties concrete is protected from efflorescence and frost damages.
Therefore ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) increases the durability of manufactured concrete products and might be a contribution to sustainability.

Improved appearance

With the addition of ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST), the cement particles are almost completely dispersed and wetted in the fresh concrete. This product feature allows for improved compactability, which eventually leads to a denser and more homogeneous-looking concrete structure.
Porous areas can be minimized, the concrete’s vertical sides are improved, and the edges of the concrete form appear sharper edged, so that the concrete product shows an improved appearance.

Processing aid

ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) advances the tolerance to process-related variations in water content which secures a more homogenous and steadier production process. Furthermore it minimises sticking to the stamp.
These product properties may result in shorter cycle times, an improved productivity and an economic optimization of concrete.

ANTIPOR® HydroCem-60 (ST) is suitable for core and monolayer designs as well as for the production of semi-dry face concrete.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.6 – 1.2 M.-% of the cement content.
