FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® RC168 (FM) is a robust high performance superplasticizer which was especially developed for the universal and unerring application in ready-mix concrete.

With its excellent plasticizing effects and its very good workability retention, the superplasticizer allows the production of processing-friendly concrete:
The wet concrete has low-viscosity, is smoothingfriendly and shows good pumpability as well as improved cohesion.

Concurrently, concrete shows an excellent robustness against varying aggregates, changing water contents and shifting processing temperatures.

These characteristics provide ready-mix producers with high application reliability.

PANTARHIT® RC168 (FM) may reduce the compaction energy applied to concrete. Concrete manufacturers, contractors and applicators may therefore achieve an economical and technical benefit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The selected polymer structure achieves a very fast dispersion of the cement within the concrete significantly. This property allows the realisation of short mixing times.

The use of PANTARHIT® RC168 (FM) allow sthe formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement paste which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.2 – 3.0 mass-% of the cement content.
