FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® RC897 (FM) is a high-range superplasticizer for producing high quality ready-mix and precast concrete with significantly reduced water demands and exceptional workability retention properties.

The special polymer selection allows concrete to perform under challenging conditions like hot weather conditions, high transit distances and pumped concrete.

PANTARHIT® RC897 (FM) has excellent plasticizing effects which can enhance concrete’s consistency by several consistency classes e.g., from S1 – S5. The high-performance superplasticizer is especially suitable for producing self compacting concrete (SCC).

PANTARHIT® RC897 (FM) may reduce the compaction energy applied to concrete. Concrete manufacturers, contractors and applicators may therefore achieve an economical and technical benefit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PANTARHIT® RC897 (FM) improves the cement dispersion within the concrete significantly. This property allows the formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement paste which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

Its special built extends the processing time purposefully and meets the special requirements challenging the ready-mix concrete industry

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.2 – 3.0 mass-% of the cement content;
is equivalent to 2 – 28 ml per kg cement.
