FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® RC174 (FM) is a consistency retaining high performance superplasticizer. It is designed for producing ready-mix concrete that requires performing under challenging conditions, e.g. high concrete- and air temperatures, long conveying distances, or demanding cements or aggregates.

The special, consistency retaining polymer configuration allows high workability retentions and is able to delay concrete’s setting characteristics.

Furthermore PANTARHIT® RC174 (FM) allows the production of processing-friendly concrete: The wet concrete has low-viscosity, is smoothing-friendly and shows good pumpability.

PANTARHIT® RC174 (FM) may reduce the compaction energy applied to concrete. Concrete manufacturers, contractors and applicators may therefore achieve an economical and technical benefit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The selected polymer structure achieves a very fast dispersion of the cement within the concrete significantly which allows shorter mixing times.

PANTARHIT® RC174 (FM) allows the formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement lime which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommend dosage range 0.2 – 3.0 mass-% of the cement content.
