FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT HCS (ST) is a stabiliser with hydrophobic effects for mineral-based building materials.

PROTECT HCS (ST) generates a hydrophobic concrete structure during the production process. As a result the water penetration in hardened concrete is minimised. Thereby the occurrence of efflorescence is reduced and the frost resistance is significantly improved.
Consequently, PROTECT HCS (ST) makes a contribution to producing durable and sustainable concrete.

PROTECT HCS (ST) stabilises concrete's texture and prevents it from segregation and bleeding tendencies.

Additionally, PROTECT HCS (ST) improves concrete's workability and compaction and attains a homogenous structure.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT HCS (ST) generates a hydrophobic capillary system and thereby reduces the water absorption abilities of concrete. Having this properties the occurrence of efflorescence and frost damages are significantly decreased.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 1.0 – 4.0 mass-% of the cement content.
