PROTECT Primer neo

Film-forming sealer for concrete surfaces

Item No. 2762

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT Primer neo is a solvent film forming sealer for the production of high-quality concrete surfaces.

PROTECT Primer neo is a deep sealer that penetrates the concrete structure deeply and minimises the absorbency of concrete.

The sealing agent is a very quick-drying product. In the manufactured concrete industry this quality allows packing the concrete products rapidly after application. Applied on concrete surfaces, this feature enables stepping on the surface quickly after treatment.

PROTECT Primer neo is suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces.

PROTECT Primer neo as priming coat

PROTECT Primer neo can also be used to prepare concrete’s surface for a later upgrade with filmforming sealer such as PROTECT Top Coat neo or PROTECT BSP.

Using PROTECT Primer neo as priming coat solves the problem with an inhomogeneous application of the later applied top coat. Since PROTECT Primer neo deeply penetrates the concrete structure, concrete’s absorbency is minimised.
This feature allows generating a very evenly film of the top coat which advances the protection abilities of concrete.

Furthermore, the primer reacts with the later applied coat and creates a powerful protection system which provides durable performance.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT Primer neo deeply penetrates the concrete structure in order to generate a high-efficient protection system.

The sealer is not yellowing, weatherproof (UVstable), permeable to water vapour and resistant against chemical loads.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities, the necessary amount might vary between 100 – 200 g/m².
