FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® RC883 (FM) is a high-performance superplasticizer with very long workability retention. It is designed for producing ready-mix concrete that requires performing under challenging conditions, e.g. high concrete and air temperatures, long conveying distances, or demanding cements or aggregates.

The special polymer configuration allows high consistency retaining and thus excellent workability retention. Furthermore, it is able to retard concrete’s setting characteristics.

Additionally, PANTARHIT® RC883 (FM) enables the production of processing-friendly concrete: The wet concrete has low-viscosity, is smoothing-friendly and shows good pumpability.

PANTARHIT® RC883 (FM) may reduce the compaction energy applied to concrete. Concrete manufacturers, contractors and applicators may therefore achieve an economical and technical benefit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PANTARHIT® RC883 (FM) improves the cement dispersion within the concrete significantly. This property allows the formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement paste which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

Its special built extends the processing time purposefully and meets the special requirements challenging the ready-mix concrete industry.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.2 – 3.0 mass-% of the cement content;
is equivalent to 2 – 29 ml per kg cement.
