FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT NTI pearl is a solvent-free, non-film forming impregnation for concrete surfaces in both application fields precast and in-situ constructions and manufactured concrete products.

PROTECT NTI pearl generates a hydrophobic surface with excellent water- and oil repellent effect.
Concrete's dirt rejection is significantly improved and the occurrence of stains caused by oil, fat, environmental influences, food and beverages are minimised. Visual defects like effloresces and damages such as those caused by freeze and de-icing salt are minimised.

PROTECT NTI pearl enables a prolonged colour preservation of concrete and reduces its weathering.
Moreover, the product facilitates the cleaning properties of the treated concrete surface.

PROTECT NTI pearl is applied either on the fresh or hardened concrete surface. The impregnation is suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces (such as grinded, washed and blasted surfaces).

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT NTI pearl deeply penetrates concrete's capillary system and reacts with its cement-based substrates in order to generate a hydrophobic capillary system.

The impregnation forms the lotus-effects which is a finishing that drips of liquids and the therein solved particles and stop them from entering into the concrete.
PROTECT NTI pearl is a sustainable protection which reduces staining, efflorescence and frost damages and enhances concretes durability significantly.

PROTECT NTI pearl is not yellowing, weather-proof (UV-stable), permeable to water vapour and resistant against chemical loads.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 50 – 100 g/m² and has to be determined for each single application.
