PROTECT NTP pearl

Film forming impregnation for the wet and dry side of concrete production

Item No. 2921

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT NTP pearl is a solvent-free film forming impregnation for mineral surfaces and especially suitable for semi-dry concrete like concrete blocks, slabs and paving stones.

PROTECT NTP pearl generates a protective film which deepens the concrete colour and forms a stain shining finishing. Thereby the impregnation allows the formation of an excellent water- and oil repellent effect. Concrete's dirt rejection is significantly improved and the occurrence of stains caused by oil, fat, environmental influences, food and beverages are minimised. Having an excellent water repellent effect, PROTECT NTP pearl reduces effloresces and frost damages in concrete.

The product application enables a prolonged colour preservation of concrete and reduces its weathering. Moreover, the product facilitates the cleaning properties of manufactured concrete products.

PROTECT NTP pearl is applied either on the dry or the wet site of production. The impregnation is suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces (such as grinded, washed and blasted surfaces).

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT NTP pearl penetrates concrete's capillary system and coats it. In doing so, the impregnation forms a protective finishing which drips of liquids and the therein solved particles and stop them from entering into the concrete.

PROTECT NTP pearl is a sustainable protection which reduces staining, efflorescence and frost damages and enhances concretes durability significantly.

PROTECT NTP pearl is not yellowing, weatherproof (UV-stable), permeable to water vapour and resistant against chemical loads.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 80 – 160 g/m² and has to be determined for each single application.
