FIELDS OF APPLICATION

VORMIOL® Therm is a high quality form release agent suitable for the production of concrete elements in heated and unheated steel, plastic and smooth wooden formwork. If polystyrene or similar formwork materials are used, follow producer's processing indications. VORMIOL® Therm adheres very well to the formwork and is therefore especially suitable for vertical applications. VORMIOL® Therm allows an easy stripping of and enables the production of high quality concrete surfaces with reduces blowholes, pores and spots. If applied properly the sticking properties of the released concrete surfaces are only insignificantly influenced.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

VORMIOL® Therm works chemically/physically and generates an excellent separating effect. The reduced adhesion between concrete and formwork minimises both damages on the produced concrete and on the formworks.

VORMIOL® Therm contains anti-corrosive additives which decrease the corrosion risk on steel moulds and allow an extended usage period of them.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 10 – 40 g/m² and has to be determined for each single application.
