FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT® 80K (BV) is a robust, lignin-free plasticizer with retarding effects. The highly effective product is particularly suitable to produce ready-mix concrete under warm or hot temperatures and long transport distances.

In addition, PANTARHIT® 80K (BV) is an optimum replacement for conventional lignin-based concrete plasticizers.

PANTARHIT® 80K (BV) can achieve the following benefits:

>  good workability retention, especially for concrete classes from S2 - S4
>  good processability
>  high robustness against varying aggregates, changing water contents, and shifting processing temperatures

>  increased effect compared to lignin-based plasticizers

PANTARHIT® 80K (BV) has been developed especially for use in combination with our high-performance superplasticisers of the PANTARHIT® RC8XX - line.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PANTARHIT® 80K (BV) improves the cement dispersion within the concrete significantly. This property allows the formation of a homogenous and low-viscosity cement paste which ensures an improved workability and facilitates the compaction of concrete.

Its special built extends the processing time purposefully and meets the special requirements challenging the ready-mix concrete industry.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 0.2 – 4.0 mass-% of the cement content;
is equivalent to 2 – 42 ml per kg cement.
